Designed, engineered, and executed entirely in-house, the Dernancourt project represents the absolute pinnacle of our Bespoke Architectural Tier. The client provided a completely blank canvas and placed full trust in our vision, granting us the creative freedom to design and deliver a reference-grade private cinema tailored specifically to the space.
Rather than forcing a standard template into the room, this freedom allowed us to engineer a truly bespoke layout that merges uncompromised acoustic and visual performance with striking interior architecture.

Scope of Work
Overcoming Structural Constraints
The room presented unique architectural challenges, featuring an awkward recess in the back wall and side access leading out to a balcony. Rather than letting these constraints compromise the layout, our team designed a custom-shaped rear riser specifically engineered around these limitations, seamlessly integrating the balcony access while maintaining perfect tier sightlines and structural integrity.
Acoustic Architecture & Treatment
Custom on-wall acoustic panels were meticulously designed and installed utilizing a precision air gap. This specialized technique effectively doubles the high-frequency absorption performance of the panels, controlling early reflections and creating an ultra-clean, immersive soundstage.

Immersive Audio & Video Integration
Built around an 11-channel Dolby Atmos configuration featuring a Krix MX Series front stage behind an acoustically transparent screen, powered by reference Elektra amplification and processed via the Integra DRX 8.4. Visuals are driven by a high-output Sony 4K home cinema projector.
Luxury Ergonomics
Fitted with a 6-seat configuration of our custom Halo Matrix luxury cinema recliners, optimized for sightlines, physical decoupling, and tactile comfort.

Technical Calibration & Tuning
Audio Optimization
Full system acoustic calibration executed using Dirac Live Bass Control, ensuring seamless subwoofer-to-satellite integration, phase alignment, and smooth low-frequency response across every seating position.
Video Calibration
Precision alignment of the Sony 4K projector, including meticulous panel alignment and professional color grading to achieve director-intent accuracy.
